Even though the basic curriculum of B-schools is the same, there is a range of differences, which each college does in the design of the course. Get an idea of how the college goes through every year, what all actives they do beside education and how they give soft skills training. Although, as market changes each year all B-schools do have some kind unique programs for each batch. But getting an overall idea of what things are likely to come can definitely help you make better use of any situation. 

Get in touch with the teachers to build a relationship with them at a personal level:

Well, it is a notion that we get to learn even from school days that be in the good book of the teacher so they are willing to help you out. In a B-school, that notion is more valid as you are paying a high cost for your education.

Getting in touch with your batchmates is also necessary:

as they will be your biggest motivators and companion for the next 2 years. Hence, building a relationship with them both at a formal and informal level is essential. 

Chose your specialization wisely:

 The first few months of MBA is the same for all but soon after you start to focus on your specialized subject, which you need to choose carefully after consultation with the experts in the respective fields.

Apart from these, it is your full responsibility to start the MBA career with an open mind that will allow all types of knowledge to get inherited within you. For the same, you also need to remove the obstacle of restricting yourself within the assigned syllabus. As the market in the external world is changing rapidly within 2 years there is very little chance that you could cover up all.
