How to get admission in MBA?

Before thinking of getting admission in MBA, you need to fulfil the eligibility criteria. You need to follow the essential steps.

Step 1: Understand what MBA is

Initially, you need to know about the course and streams offered by a different organization and the course fees of those organizations. It is a two years post-graduate course with 4 semesters.

Step 2: MBA eligibility 

To get admission in MBA course, you need to complete your graduation with at least 50% marks.

Step 3:  Registration and application for the entrance exam

Registration opens from August/September and candidates can register and apply for entrance exams like CAT, CMAT, ATMA and MAT etc.

Step 4: Appearing in the entrance exam

The exams generally held in November to January in all over India. So, if you are thinking to join the course you need to work hard to get the chance as lots of candidates are preparing for it.

Step 5: Shortlist procedure

The result generally out in January end and the admission process starts on the basis of academics, exam score, working experience and other few parameters vary among universities and colleges.

Step 6: Final process

Shortlisted candidates need to attend written ability test, group discussion and personal interview. The final admission process depends on the college that you have chosen to study.
